Ellingham & Ringwood sealed a dramatic win in the Counties Two Hampshire league on the final day of the season, a result that saw them crowned champions. In a closely fought match against Fordingbridge, they held their nerve to prevail with a victory at the death.
It was a dramatic end to the season as Ellingham & Ringwood secured the Counties Two Hampshire title and promotion on the last day by defeating Fordingbridge in a thrilling victory. Needing a bonus-point victory to achieve this, they snatched away the league from local rivals New Milton who had been ahead in the standings for nearly the whole season and also overtook Bognor who was left behind with a points difference. It was a nail-biting finish, but one that ultimately saw Ellingham & Ringwood emerge victorious.
