It was a dramatic end to the season as Ellingham & Ringwood secured the Counties Two Hampshire title and promotion on the last day by defeating Fordingbridge in a thrilling victory. Needing a bonus-point victory to achieve this, they snatched away the league from local rivals New Milton who had been ahead in the standings for nearly the whole season and also overtook Bognor who was left behind with a points difference. It was a nail-biting finish, but one that ultimately saw Ellingham & Ringwood emerge victorious.
