Christchurch Town Council Unveils Major Investment Plan with Acquisition of Two Skate Parks and Recreation Ground
The Christchurch Town Council is preparing a major investment plan to ensure the long-term sustainability and upkeep of two skate parks and a recreation ground which they have recently taken ownership of.
The investment plan will focus on providing up-to-date facilities, equipment and infrastructure, as well as staffing and maintenance to the sites – all while keeping fees low to make sure that the local community can continue to make use of these fun and beneficial spaces.
Additionally, the council plans to implement education programmes, training, events and activities into their proposed plan in order to further encourage active lifestyles in the community by providing support for physical, recreational and social development within an economically viable framework.
